CoolBus Creative is a consultancy that draws together Jane Andrew's skills and experience across the fields of Design and User Experience, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Arts and Creative Industries, Government, Education, and Research.


Over 35 years, I have developed a reputation for my dedication and skills in promoting innovation and cooperation by challenging the status quo with respect and care.


I facilitate productive relationships and conversations across teams, portfolios, sectors and communities and assist teams in developing and implementing projects that are desirable, feasible and viable.


CoolBus Creative is now open for business, offering services to groups looking for an integrative approach to co-design and implement strategic, desirable, and feasible projects.


With years of experience working with researchers, businesses, governments, non-profits, and communities, I have gained valuable insights into diverse industries and community sectors' political, policy, professional, and operational environments.

Boundary Spanning

I am a Boundary Spanner.  Boundary Spanners are known for breaking down silos both among internal units and across sectors to foster collaborative innovations. 

I find it immensely rewarding to facilitate conversations where group boundaries collide and intersect, lightbulb thoughts ignite ideas for change, and teams coalesce to address a challenge.

Integrative Thinking

I am a designer who focuses on bringing together the knowledge of project stakeholders to gain insights into the complexity of the challenge sought to be addressed and the opportunities for change. The practice of Integrative Thinking combines the four methodologies of Human-Centred Design, Systems Thinking and Strategic Planning.

CoolBus Creative uses these methods and tools within a Design Thinking process to facilitate teams to creatively and collaboratively solve complex problems.

Applied Ideas

Nothing is more frustrating than having a great idea that never comes to fruition. At CoolBus Creative, we collaborate with organisations and communities to explore the feasibility of an idea and plan for its implementation, scalability and sustainability. We can learn from each other by doing, but measuring the impact of our ideas is important. When working on projects, I will help teams create and implement an evaluation plan to measure the project's success.
